DIGITAL MINDFULNESS CLASS NL MINDFUL offers you to work on your NL MINDFUL CLASS any time and from anywhere with personal support by your Mindfulness Teacher, Director at NL MINDFUL Melanie Kettner. We send you written Lectures and Audio Files, Podcast like, via email twice a week on Monday and Friday with weekly Assignments. All emails, Lectures and Audio Files are from Director of NL MINDFUL.
DIGITAL MINDFULNESS CLASS NL MINDFUL is based on the Mindfulness Research at the University of Los Angeles and the 8 week MBCT class of Prof. Mark Williams (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) at Oxford University. NL MINDFUL CLASS uses the Mindfulness philosophy and Breathing Practices of Thich Nhat Hanh and Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn.

At NL MINDFUL we integrate in Daily Life Breathing Practices, Mediations and Mindful Movement. In week 5-8 of NL MINDFUL we focus on Resilience. Furthermore, we learn to improve our approach to stress and pain.
DIGITAL MINDFULNESS CLASS NL MINDFUL has a clear structure, helpful for those new to Mindfulness. It is important to keep up with the schedule to get the best benefit out of it. However, to follow a Mindfulness Class schedule in daily life can be a challenge: At NL MINDFUL we adapt the class to the personal needs of our participants: We will send you your Mindfulness emails in a slower rhythm of 14 days and we offer students a break of 2 or 4 weeks after the first part of the Mindfulness class.
What is Mindfulness?
Being mindful means paying attention to the present moment with kindness and self compassion Mindfulness is based on an ancient buddhist practice, it is a form of Mental Training and a Meditation Technique. While practicing Mindfulness the mind is concentrated and at rest at the same time.
WHY MINDFULNESS?
Stress is an ongoing topic in our life. Minor stress can add up during the day and acute stress can become chronic stress. Subsequently, Hyperarousal may be a chronic state of body and mind and exhaustion follows any time soon.
Science showed that an unfocused mind is an unhappy mind: MINdfulness improves the regulation of emotion & stress.
Mindfulness has a positive impact on Anxiety, Insomnia and is part of a variety of clinical treatments. Brief daily meditation improves concentration, mood and emotion regulation in non experiences meditators. If you practice daily with our course, you will get positive effects soon.
At DIGITAL MINDFULNESS CLASS NL MINDFUL we integrate Mindful Breathing in between during the day, this will improve your breathing, your concentration and relaxation. People under stress, anxiety or pain breathe more quickly and less regularly. Meditators have a slower breath, indicating reduced automatic response, better mood and improved health.2)

Actually for everyone who wants to be prepared for difficult life situations. Mindfulness is not a Psychotherapy, but it can be a good idea to visit a Mindfulness class when you are waiting for your Therapy.

560 EUR for 8 weeks Mindfulness class & personal support of your Mindfulness teacher throughout the whole class and one week after the class has finished. We stay in contact with our participants beyond their Mindfulness class at NL MINDFUL.
The price is payable in 2 parts and you can ask for a break of 2-4 weeks between Part 1 and Part 2 of the program. After your application NL MINDFUL class starts the following Monday. DIGITAL MINDFULNESS CLASS NL MINDFUL WITH RESPONSIBILITY
CONTRAINDICATIONS: In cases of Trauma meditation can cause flashbacks, a in person support by a therapist is needed and in this setting Mindfulness supports self-regulation, stability and attention regulation. We follow the rules for TSM, Trauma sensitive Mindfulness (David A. Treleaven) to protect all our participants in a digital setting, but this class is not a Psychotherapy. Please read our health questionnaire and send it to us, so that we can be sure that everyone attending this class gets the right support.
There are physical conditions such as Asthma or Migraines, Emphysema or heart problems where breath work can not be the right tool. There are emotional conditions in which we first need to come out of to practice Mindfulness: Conditions like Depression, Acute Stress Reaction, Trauma and Anxiety Disorder should be treated by in person Psychotherapy. Talk to your doctor, if you are not sure or get in touch.
NL MINDFULTIME TABLE:
In WEEK 1 we reflect the tendency of the human mind to wander and to lose its attention. Our students get to know Mindful Breathing and the technique of Anchoring to maintain our focus. We study the principles of Mindfulness and we practice our first Meditations EASE and PAUSE.
In WEEK 2 we explore a Mindful Morning and take the Japanese Culture as inspiration for our Tea Mind Meditation. Our participants learn Mindful Responding and explore how to can rebalance faster from stress. We practice the Mountain Meditation to discover our own mountain qualities to face stress.
In WEEK 3 we explore Mindfulness in Movement through Mindful Movement and Walking Meditation. We learn to use both in daily life.
In WEEK 4 we explore the Willingness to be with what is: Allowing our thoughts, sensations and emotions to be here and we learn Self-Compassion. We practice a Meditation for Dealing with Restlessness & Worries
In WEEK 5 & 6 we learn to face the difficulties in life and to deal with physical minor pain better and in We explore how Mindfulness & Kindness belong together. We practice a Kindness Meditation.
In WEEK 7 & 8 we develop a personal Mindfulness Bells list developed by Prof. Mark Williams at Oxford University and we repeat the basic steps of Mindfulness practice. We learn how to create a Mindfulness Parachute developed by Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn that protects us when times get tough.
One week after the class has finished your Mindfulness Teacher is still responding your questions to get sure everyone gets a smooth transition to working with Mindfulness by themselves. We stay in touch with our participants later on.
