Stories of Art, Mindfulness & Nature
A Nordic State of Mind
“A few years ago, I found myself for the first time in the arctic Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. I felt like I had been dropped down on the moon” Lise Ulrich in NL1 Magazine
NL MAGAZINE is our international, independent print magazine, a window into Nordic nature, culture, and mindful living. Through stories, photography, and conversations with young adventurers, we explore how nordic landscapes, homes and mindsets and nordic ways of living shape creativity, resilience, and ways of being present.
The magazine was distributed worldwide and has featured voices and images from leading Nordic and international photographers and writers.
A MINDFUL WAY of LIVING
At its heart, NL MAGAZINE is about a state of mind — calm, grounded, and connected to nature. Both NL MINDFUL and NL MAGAZINE share the same spirit: slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and cultivating a calmer, more mindful way of living.

“The experience of being out in the countryside amongst the fjords and mountains, so close to nature, is beautifully peaceful and healing. I feel I am a sensitive and lost soul, and this is just the place I needed to get close to my own roots and reflect on my own self as a human being. I needed to find home for my own values and my own truths. However hard that might be. I needed this place deep in the fjords.” Lisa Reid Majaavatten in NL3 Magazine
